Orchard Beach Vol Fire Dept, established in 1930, is to provide high quality
Fire, Rescue and EMS services to the citizens of Anne Arundel County.Â
OBVFD has 90 members, with 44 being responding members. In 2024, we
responded to 3200 incidents. Orchard Beach Volunteer Fire Department is
located in the Northern section of the county and hosts a number of
large warehouses, industrial parks and Baltimore Gas & Electric
Power Plant. We have 6 Tier 2 HazMat facilities, a larger manufacturing
process and the United States Coast Guard Yard of Baltimore. We are also
on a mutual aid response policy to Baltimore City and Baltimore County.
